The miles you earn are good for any travel expense like airfare, hotel rooms, cruises and car rentals. To figure out how many miles you need, add 2 zeros to your travel cost. If a flight costs $210, you would need 21,000 miles in rewards.

Who should get this card: If you don’t spend a lot on credit cards each month, you may want to consider this card. This card has a relatively low bar to meet for the sign-up bonus. That means you won’t feel pressured into spending more just to get the bonus. However, if you’d like a higher on-going rewards rate, you can get more bang for your buck with the Discover it® Miles card.
