Brandon L. King wins the East Cleveland mayoral election beating out Devin Branch with 66.5% of the vote.

King was born and raised in East Cleveland.  He attended East Cleveland Schools. He represents over forty years in businesses and investments in the city and community.

King has a Masters of Urban Real Estate Development and Finance from Cleveland State University. A Masters of Business Administration  from Ohio University .ernest l

King is the Vice-President of American Merchandising Services (AMS) and the Managing Partner of King Management Group (KMG). He has participated in a variety of community activities including Habitat for Humanity and Closing the Achievement Gap program.

King served as East Cleveland Councilman and Council Vice President before  becoming the interim mayor in 2016 when Mayor Gary Norton was recalled.

Nathaniel Martin has served as an East Cleveland Councilman-at-large for 10 years. He successfully maintained an at-large- seat on Tuesday with 39.7% of the vote. Timothy R Austin was elected as the second at-large councilman with 27.6% of the vote.

Native East Clevelander Ernest L. Smith secured the Ward 3 council seat with 61.4% of the vote.
