Supporters for President Obama came out to his birthday celebration at the Shaker Square Organizing For America campaign offices.  Fired up and ready to campaign for the Democratic ticket in the upcoming congressional races in November, supporters were very outspoken about maintaining Democratic control.

Meanwhile back at the White House….ooops..there wasn’t anybody at the White House!! First Lady Michelle Obama and Sasha were in Spain.  Malia is at camp and President Obama celebrated his birthday in Chicago with Oprah Winfrey and other close friends over dinner.

First Lady Michelle Obama had begun to organize a nationwide birthday card and as of yesterday at 1:40p had garnered over 1.3million signatures from across the country!The Obama ladies did call and wish the President a happy birthday while in flight on Air Force One to Chicago!
