Councilman Terrell Pruitt and NEON is happy to present the Ward1 “Family & Community Expo & Parade on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at
Kerruish Park, 17000 Tarkington Avenue. The theme is “Healthy Eating – Active Living”. NEON staff will be on hand to share valuable health information, and answer all of your questions. Festivities will kickoff with a parade at noon from John F. Kennedy High School. This will be followed by a baseball game between the Mayor’s Office and Ward 1 members. The festivities will continue with great music on the NEON Feel Good-Summer Groove Stage provided by the Old Skool Players, the Dollhouze and Patti L, Men of Belief, and others. Come out and enjoy a fun filled day of family & friends.
