It was fun and excitement at the ‘Special Advance Screening’s of  ‘Our Family Wedding’ as Radio One hosted the ‘Ultimate Cake Dig Challenge where six lucky couples competed in a relay race ending in an Ultimate cake dig for $2000 cash!

The couple that was out of the box running in a relay race to sip a beverage, dance, take the garter off throw in the crowd and eat cake without utensils in record time would claim the bounty of $2000 cash.

The winner’s Robert Lockwood III (Grandson of Robert Lockwood Jr the famous Blues Guitarist) and Stephanie Strawbridge won the relay in sixty four seconds!

Max’nOut Entertainment also hosted a ‘Pamper Me Open House’ at La Chae Lash Lounge & Spa where movie screening winners received a special gift pack compliments of Fox Searchlight just before the ‘Special Advance Screening’.

Fun and excitement also describes the movie ‘Our Family Wedding’!  You just don’t think of Forest Whitaker in a comedy.  However Forest Whitaker, Carlos Mencia and Anjelah N. Johnson (who played America Ferera’s sister) stole the show.

There was laughter throughout the screening but in a serious note  ‘Our Family Wedding’ is able to touch upon cultural difference in relationships, spring and summer romances and getting the romance back into long term marriages.

The comedic escapade of ‘Our Family Wedding’ is one you have to see!  Three thumbs up so get to the box today…’Our Family Wedding’ is wholesome family fun!
