In the upcoming issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Serena Williams opens up about the real reason behind her recent breakup with rapper Common. After two years of discreetly dating, the tennis star says their busy schedules began taking a toll on their relationship. “His schedule is actually worse than mine. He didn’t want the responsibility. It’s tough.”
While the Chicago rapper was on promotional stops for his film ‘Just Wright,’ he lead many to believe the two were still a couple due to his constant praises for Williams. “I called him and I was like, Why are you saying all this stuff when we’re not together?” Hollywood relationships can be so complicated! Hang in there Serena, you’ll find a man that can handle your schedule in no time.
