Though this biopic’s focus is on the friendship between Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, in real life, Jett formed the band with drummer Sandy West; Currie was an eventual add-on a year or so after the group’s formation. But who needs reality when you have two of the Twilight gals in a side project. Squee!! More on this one after its Sundance debut.
