In an adorable Instagram photo of her husband Cory Hardrict, and 6-year son Cree kissing her baby bump, ‘The Sister, Sister’ star announced  that she is pregnant with her second child.

The 39-year-old actress had been on a weight loss schedule which saw her shedding 20-lbs over the summer by changing her diet. She had begun following the abiding principles outlined in her cookbook.

Previously, Mowry admitted she used diet pills in her late teens, but she didn’t clean up her junk food diet. She wrote in her book that her desire to get pregnant for the first time was a big motivator.

After six months of her diet schedule, her eczema and migraines disappeared. Mowry lost weight and slowly started to “find natural foods, delicious, and truly satisfying,” she wrote.

She even got a bigger surprise about a year after she began eating taking that healthy meal. “I started to feel deeply and thrillingly alive,” she said, “I had more energy than I remember ever having.”

While on top of this dairy-free diet, Mowry got more positive results, she became pregnant. “Given all of my health issues, I hadn’t expected it to happen so fast. But after I started following my new routine for just twelve months, Cory came visiting me in Atlanta, and a few weeks later, we got the amazing news.”

The actress’ twin, Tamera Mowry-Housley, has two children of her own: son Aden John Tanner, 4, and daughter Ariah Talea, 2. The duo recently celebrated Halloween together.

After receiving her sister’s announcement, Tamera tweeted, “Couldn’t wait to tell the world I’m going to be an auntie.”

During an interview with PEOPLE in 2016, Mowry was very open about her struggle with fertility due to endometriosis. “I suffer from endometriosis. So there’s a little bit of a challenge, but I am working on my diet hoping that better nutrition would eliminate the inflammation in my body.”

Even though Mowry was somewhat overhauled in her lifestyle, she tried to remain optimistic about the idea of having a second child. “I don’t want to put too much hope into it. I don’t want to be let down,” she told the PEOPLE then.

But apparently, the diet, exercise, and prayer paid off. Congratulations to Tia once again.
