Greater Clevelanders started rolling into The SoulFood Festival promptly when the gates opened at 2p!  The food was abundant….everybody was partying and the entertainment was on point!

Through rain, sleet or snow the ‘Junkanoo’ carried on!  Louise Guissendaner hosted this fundraiser benefit for the Akron Urban League.  Folks had a wonderful time despite the rain. A Caribbean themed cuisine, live entertainment, games and prizes…it was a picture perfect evening!

Alton Tinker held his annual Chicken & Waffles Backyard Party yesterday and it was good food (chicken & waffles of course….plus Jamaican chicken, goat, beans & rice….I could go on and on), good folks, great music and a whole lot of fun!

Supporters for President Obama came out to his birthday celebration at the Shaker Square Organizing For America campaign offices.  Fired up and ready to campaign for the Democratic ticket in the upcoming congressional races in November, supporters were very outspoken about maintaining Democratic control.
