“Hancock” Tapped for a Sequel
Will Smith will return to the big screen as superhero John Hancock in the sequel of the 2008 film “Hancock”. Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman have also signed on to return to project. Details on the release date and plot have yet to be revealed, but according to Variety.com “Smith and Theron will once again play immortal gos, who lose their powers when in each other’s presence. The two must pair up to deal with a third entity. The actioner is expected to explore the 3,000 year old world they’re from, which was only hinted at in the first film.”
Peter Berg is set to direct the film that will be penned by Adam Fierro (“24” and “Dexter”) and Glen Mazzara (“The Shield).

Nice blog at http://www.mxoentertainment.com. I just read that Will Smith, who was last seen in Seven Pounds, is all set to play Captain Steve Hiller Will in the sequels to the hit sci-fi film Independence Day. I am looking forward to see that!
